The Guardian Avionics smartMFD application for Apple iOS offers a comprehensive solution for pilots seeking a budget-friendly multifunction display, integrating seamlessly with the smartPlane system. Utilizing data from the smartPlane product line, the smartMFD app presents aircraft positional and attitude data, engine performance metrics, and VFR/IFR charts and approach plates in an intuitive format. The inclusion of CO level alerts and pulse oximeter readings (when connected to smartLink 555) enhances pilot safety and situational awareness.

Furthermore, the smartMFD application captures all flight data and automatically uploads it to the smartData web app from Guardian Avionics. This functionality enables users to analyze engine performance trends and review historical flight path data with ease.

With the addition of a smartPanel dock for an iPad or iPhone within the instrument panel, the smartMFD provides an all-encompassing multifunction display at a significantly lower cost compared to many competitive products on the market.

The application also allows access to health app data to retrieve heart rate and blood oxygen levels for in-app display.

 <li>Plan 3 - IFR: Incorporates all Plan 2 features along with IFR charts and Squawk Form functionality.</li>
 <li>Plan 4 - POWER USER: Contains all Plan 3 features plus Air Shows for passengers.</li>
 <li>Plan 5 - Commercial User: Encompasses all Plan 4 features along with multiple aircraft user support.</li>
